Kids under 12 yrs get GB tax waiver from May 1

GB tax (UK Departure Taxes) will be waived for children under 12 years from May 1, 2015 and for children under 16 years from March 1, 2016. Vijay K Gupta, Chairman,  TAFI – NI has asked respective airlines for a refund of the GB taxes. “Please ask respective airlines for a refund of the GB taxes, if you have any children under 12 years, travelling after May 1, 2015, whose tickets have been issued, and tax has been collected on the same,” says Gupta.
