Regency Travel Consultant to open office in Pune; aims to expand into inbound business

Regency Travel Consultant, an outbound tour operating company, plans to open its first office on Apte Road in the city by September this year. Gulzaar Sayed, Proprietor, Regency Travel Consultant, has been in the travel trade business for more

than 19 years. She established Regency Travel Consultant five years ago and till today works from home. Following the inauguration of her first office, Sayed will be recruiting two people in the operations department.

With the launch of Tourist Visa on Arrival (TVoA) enabled by ETA, Sayed is hopeful of a rise in inbound travel to India. She asserts that with the visa norms getting relaxed for more and more countries, Regency Travel Consultant will also be diversifying into the inbound travel space with the new office.

Booking international and domestic tour packages mainly for the high-end corporate, Sayed highlights that currently there is demand for bookings to overseas destinations like Germany, Dubai, UK, and Thailand. On the domestic front, travel to cooler destinations such as Kashmir, Darjeeling, and Sikkim is also seeing rapid growth. We have a large number of repeat clientele and our USP lies in offering quality service 24/7, she added.
