Vistara to have ultra modern IFE system on its planes by November

NEW DELHI: Business class travellers of Vistara can enjoy the in-flight entertainment facility (IEF) from next month and the airline plans to roll out the service for economy and premium economy class passengers by November.

The Tata-SIA joint venture airline has roped in global avionics major BAE system to provide the first-of-its-kind IFE solution which would be available to passengers through wireless streaming of pre-loaded contents on their personal electronic devices like tablets and smartphones.

The IFE solution of which the soft launch is going on will be available to Vistara's business class customers on flights which are of more than two hours durations from May 15, the airline said in a statement today.
