Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the PATA Travel Mart, which will be held from September 6-8 in Bengaluru this year. Addressing a press conference in Delhi on May 19, RV Deshpande, Minister for Higher Education and Tourism, Govt of Karnataka, said that the travel mart will help boost tourism not just for India but also for the entire country. He invited all stake holders to participate enthusiastically in it. He also informed that for the first time, an Investors’ Meet is being organized during the event. He further informed that 134 buyers from 43 countries and 114 sellers from 66 organizations have already confirmed their participation.
