Thailand hosts luxury training for 38 Coimbatore agents

The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Mumbai Office hosted a high tea for travel agents in Coimbatore to showcase luxury holidays in Thailand. A total of 38 travel agents attended the event. Soraya Homchuen, Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand – Mumbai office says, “Tier II cities such as Coimbatore are a focus area for TAT going ahead. We would like to see more travellers from these cities become aware of luxury travel possibilities in Thailand so that they can showcase and sell these to the increasingly affluent population in these cities. After all, many say that due to a lower cost-of-living, people in tier II cities tend to have a good amount of disposable income. We are already receiving first time travellers from these cities and would now like to welcome more FITs and families.”
