Airports Authority of India to go for listing on bourses by end of FY16, hires SBI Caps; analysts welcome move
NEW DELHI: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has kicked off the divestment process and subsequent listing on the bourses, and has hired SBI Caps to guide them through the process.
"SBI Caps will guide us through the divestment process. They will prepare a report on the whole process and issues, which will then be discussed by AAI's board," said a senior Airports Authority of India (AAI) official, who did not wish to be identified.
The civil aviation ministry, in its civil aviation policy, announced its plans to divest stake and list AAI and Pawan Hans Helcopters Ltd (PHHL) by the end of 2015-16 fiscal year.
While PHHL had started the exercise over a month back and hired SBI Caps to help them with the formalities, AAI has set the ball rolling now.
