CINZ MEETINGS 2015 receives notable demand from buyers

Hosted buyer spots are filling fast for this year’s CINZ MEETINGS, New Zealand’s national Business Tourism event for the Conference, Meetings, Events, Exhibitions, and Travel Incentives industry. Buyer applications will close on April 10. Sue Sullivan, Chief Executive, CINZ, said demand has been high from both exhibitors and buyers wanting to be part of New Zealand’s business events trade show on June 10 and 11.

“We are delighted with the excellent field of exhibitors already signed up, and the speed of reaction to our call for hosted buyers this year,” Sullivan said.

There are 90 spots for Australian buyers and another 90 for New Zealand buyers. Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand are bringing more than 35 international buyers, and are reporting a surge of interest from North American incentive buyers this year.

Exhibitor stands are in demand for the event at ASB Showgrounds, with new exhibitors, including several from Northland and Wanaka, joining MEETINGS for the first time, according to a release.

The Luxury Collection, a new feature launched at MEETINGS last year, is quickly establishing itself as the one of the premium opportunities for the country’s luxury operators.
