TAAI Convention begins in Bali
Over 500 Indian delegates have been welcomed in Bali on the occasion of TAAI’s 62nd Convention and Exhibition. TAAI members and dignitaries including the Vice-Governor of Bali and the Chairman of the Bali Tourism Board have been present during the inaugural lighting of the lamp ceremony. Amarjeet Singh Takhi, Consul General, Consulate of India in Bali has also extended a warm welcome to all those present. Discussing the choice of destination, Sunil Kumar R, Vice-President, TAAI says, “This platform provides us with a domain to carry forward the objectives of promoting tourism to India, identifying India’s outbound industry as a key player and the business’s sessions highlight and discuss the theme of the convention, reflections redefining relevance.” The key note address has been delivered by Ashwini Kakkar, Executive Vice-Chairman, Mercury Travels and he has been recognised by TAAI as ‘The Knight of Knowledge’.
