Gujarat showcases tourism products in 6 cities

Gujarat Tourism is conducting a multi-city roadshow taking a huge delegation of 40 tour operators, agents and suppliers from Gujarat to various cities all through April and May. The contingent will soon travel to Jaipur on May 8 and conclude in New Delhi on May 9, 2015. The roadshow began with Kolkata on April 2, followed by Hyderabad on April 10, Mumbai on April 24 and Pune on April 25.

The main aim of this activity is to promote summer packages in Gujarat and attract tourists during the low season with low rates. Among the new products launched during the roadshow include ‘Modi’s Village’ by Ahmedabad-based Akshar Travels. The package includes visiting the place called Vadnagar where PM Modi spent his childhood, did his schooling, and the tea shop where he worked.
