Jet Airways starts more domestic services to cash in on summer rush


MUMBAI: Jet Airways, India's biggest carrier by market share Friday announced plans of adding 31 domestic flights this summer.

Jet has introduced a total of 23 inbound and outbound flights from Delhi to cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengalore, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Lucknow, Patna, Srinagar, Jaipur and Pune.

It has also increased frequencies to Pune, Goa and Imphal looking at the growing demand in the sector owing to buoyant business and tourist travel. Meanwhile, the airline has offered 16 of its wide bodied planes for sale, according to data revealed recently by an international trade website.
